I wonder, I wander..

Wondering: Noun. Plural for a feeling of amazement and admiration, caused by something beautiful, remarkable, or unfamiliar. wonder. awe. amazement.

Wandering: adjective. moving from place to place without a fixed plan; roaming; rambling: wandering tourists. having no permanent residence; nomadic: a wandering tribe of Indians. meandering; winding: a wandering river; a wandering path.

I find these two almost identical words enchanting. Language is a beautiful thing don't you think. I look at them and think, that is exactly how my mind and and soul move about. Always has. And I suspect, it always will.

No fixed plan, not a particular destination that I am aware of. Perhaps my purpose in the wandering is the wonder. The destination is in the amazement. The awe. The enchantment is in the wandering into unfamiliar, magical thoughts...moments.

Perhaps that is the very definition of living in the moment. In the present. Moment to moment. From one experience to the next. Joy. Love. Disappointment. Beauty. Loss. Discovery. Wandering. Wonder. Perhaps this is where magic lies. Here in my hollar. Under the moon. At the foot of a mountain.

Not all who wander are lost...just wondering.
